ULAVUnmanned Logistics Air Vehicle (ULAV) Precision delivery of small bundle re-supply in Military, Humanitarian and commercial theaters is one of the core capabilities of the CQ-10 system. The modular cargo bay design of the SnowGoose allows for up to six individual 100 lb (45 kg) re-supply loads to be delivered per mission. Using the MMIST low cost, disposable re-supply parachute and container system allows for costs to be minimized and rigging complexity to be removed. Re-supply accuracey is enhanced by the SnowGoose systems capability of on the fly calculation of CARP (calculated air release point) and the ability to select HALO ( high altitude low opening) or HAHO ( high altitide high opening) modes of operation. The CQ-10 system can deliver cargo with a CEP (circular erro probabillty) of less than 100 m (330 ft). Typical cargo includes;
1 CQ-10 aircraft can sustain a 12 man infantry team in the field in hot conditions indefinitely. Re-supply missions can be carried out covertly, at night from high altitude with HALO mode of operation. Re-supply locations are pre-programmed to the system before launch and the mission is flown autonomously. In fluid battle field situiations, re-tasking of the mission can be carried out on the fly via the ground control station SATCOM link. This allows troops on the ground to re-locate to a safe re-supply location. Psychological Operations and Disaster relief Leafleting and dispersible media distribution is a proven CQ-10 system capability where mass communication can be delivered to denied areas of operation due to hostilities or natural disaster.
